Are you an Australian RC store and where do you ship from?

RC High Performance Hobbies is an Australian-owned online hobby store based in Camden, NSW. All orders are dispatched directly from Australia for faster local delivery.

How quickly will my order be dispatched and delivered?

Most orders are dispatched within 48 hours of being placed, excluding weekends and public holidays. Delivery times depend on your location within Australia.

Can I track my order once it ships?

Yes. Every order includes a tracking number once dispatched, allowing you to follow your parcel.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally to selected locations. Customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

Can I pick up my order?

Pickups are available by appointment only at our Cobbitty, NSW location.

What is your returns policy?

Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility.

Is there a restocking fee?

Yes. Returns incur a 15% restocking fee, and freight charges may also be deducted from your refund.

What warranty do your products include?

Our RC products come with a limited 7-day warranty. Warranty claims must be processed directly through us.

What is excluded from the warranty?

Wear-and-tear items such as gears, clutches and suspension components, along with damage from misuse, are excluded.

Should beginners choose an electric or nitro RC car?

We recommend electric RC cars as they are easier to maintain, quieter and cleaner than nitro models.

What do RTR, Scale and 2.4G mean?

RTR means Ready to Run, 2.4G refers to the radio system, and Scale indicates the model’s size compared to the real vehicle.

What scale RC car should I buy?

1/18 is great for indoors, 1/10 is the most popular all-round size, while 1/8 and 1/5 are best for large outdoor areas.

What’s the difference between a buggy, truggy, monster truck and crawler?

Each is designed for different terrain and driving styles, from racing and jumping to rock crawling.

Do you sell RC tanks and construction vehicles?

Yes. We stock RC battle tanks, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, loaders and more.

Do you stock spare parts and upgrades?

Yes. We carry a wide range of spare parts and upgrades organised by brand and scale.

What battery and charger do I need?

Choose a battery that matches your model’s battery type, voltage, capacity and connector.

Can I drive my RC car through water or sand?

We recommend avoiding water and sand as they can damage electronics and drivetrain components.

Can I use my RC boat in saltwater?

Freshwater is recommended. Saltwater can quickly corrode electronic and metal components.

What happens if an item is out of stock?

Out-of-stock products cannot be ordered through our website.
