RC HIGH PERFORMANCE HOBBIES – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Warranty Claims & Limited Warranty

  • All warranty claims must be processed directly through RC High Performance Hobbies—not your local hobby dealer.

  • Products must be returned at the buyer’s expense.

  • Due to the recreational nature of our products, a limited 7-day warranty applies. For more details, please contact our office.

  • The following parts are not covered under the 7-day warranty:

    • Drive train and suspension components

    • Gears (including spur, clutch-bell, etc.)

    • Clutch and clutch spring

    • Pull starters

    • Slipper clutch

  • This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, improper break-in, setup, or operation. Examples of misuse include:

    • Using the product in dirt areas where stones may cause damage

    • Exposure to water/sand that damages parts

    • Operating on grass or using the product for jumps

    • Tampering with or modifying the product

    • Collisions with objects that could cause damage

    • Improper engine operation

Returns

  • We offer a 14-day return window from the date of purchase.

  • Returns are not accepted if fuel has been added to the vehicle or if the vehicle has been used in any way.

  • For new item returns, a 15% restocking fee applies, and all items must be returned in their original packaging.

  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Additionally, any freight charges we incurred to deliver the product will be deducted from your refund.

  • Refunds are issued as store credit (with no expiry date) and will be sent only to the email address used to place the order. Please include a copy of your invoice with your return.

Warranty Returns/Repairs

  • All warranty repairs must be returned to:

  • As with in-store purchases, it is the customer’s responsibility to return the product.

  • Upon receipt, we will assess the product to determine if it qualifies as a warranty issue. If it does, we will repair or replace the product and cover the return shipping cost.

  • If the damage is due to misuse, we will provide a repair quote via email before proceeding. Please include a copy of your invoice with your return. For full warranty details, please refer to our Terms & Conditions page.

Delivery Policy

  • Most orders are dispatched within 36 hours, and a tracking number is provided.

  • We do not ship on weekends or public holidays.

  • While we ensure that all items are well-packaged, any damage or loss during transit is not covered. If you require insurance for transit, please contact our office for a quote prior to placing your order.

  • For orders outside Australia, government charges or import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer.
